Backstory - Vintage Clothing Love!
On my etsy shop, cherryrivers, I've been into vintage and antiques for the home and office, and other collectibles. Now I've caught the vintage clothing bug!
Uh-oh! It's a natural for me, having always loved fashion, shopping, dressmaking, and a couple (ahem!) decades of seeing fashion change.
I recently read about the Pendleton '49er jacket, saw some pics and instantly fell in love with it. I challenged myself to scout out one of these jackets for myself locally.
I realized that I had probably overlooked these and other fun vintage fashion finds, while focusing on other areas of antiques and collectibles. Sure enough, that very day, I did find a 49er jacket, a very cool Kasual Coat. So exciting!
Okay, so it does have a couple moth holes! But that only justifies keeping it for myself!
Here a couple of other vintage clothing items I was thrilled to find. The good news is-I am sharing them. They are listed in my etsy shop. And, um, no moth holes. I do look for clothing in primo vintage condition, and often have them dry cleaned before listing them. Anyway, please check them out, and enjoy!

And, if you like hats, here's a super fun find! An Otto Lucas purple fur from the 1960s, designer for royalty and celebrities in his day!
I hope you enjoyed my little trip through vintageland this Sunday night! Please come back soon, as I'm working on my blogging skills to bring you lots of great info, pics and vintage fun. Thanks for stopping in!
